Awkwafina
Awkwafina was an American actor and musician who began her career with innovative raps which addressed the issues of sexuality and race with a an edgy, comical perspective. She then expanded to Hollywood. The actress was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents within Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was via trumpet. The classical, jazz, and hip-hop education began when she was in her teens. At college, she was studying the field of women's studies and journalism. In addition, she spent a short time studying Mandarin at the University of Beijing. She turned her attention towards music after she completed her degree. The My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a viral hit across the Internet and later appeared on her first LP Yellow Ranger. Other viral hits included the queef track, and the witty NYC Bitchecity tour. This song is directly connected to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide for 2015, which was a travel guide. She opted to pursue acting as a profession after completing her first two projects, as an author and musician. Apart from the early television shows such as Girl Code and Tawk, she has also been featured in movies including Neighbors2Storks and Bad Rap. She had a breakthrough role in 2018 with a few movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8 as well as Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June, she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
