Kristen Anne Bell was born in 1980. She's a singer/actress from the USA. She is a Michigan native born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) as well as Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is from Polish origin (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a skilled performer from a young age. In 1992, she was awarded her first part in her audition in Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mom signed her up at an agency prior to when turning 13 years old. She later appeared on television commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. She is now also taking private acting lessons. Bell made an appearance on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell was a part of the drama and musical club in Shrine Catholic High School. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the school production that was The Wizard of Oz. Bell later moved to New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell, who graduated in 2001, resigned her studies at the university to play in the role of Becky as Becky in Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 when Bell's debut appearance was in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene was cut and only the credits display her. Bell appeared together with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
